The Faces of Bear Creek

Torrential rains on Friday and Saturday failed to dampen the spirits of the Bear Creekers who attended the annual meeting and picnic on July 31.  New board members John Ingles (President), Janice Oldham (1st VP), Larry Tatum (2nd VP), Herb Bohannan (Secretary), and Gene Kaczor (Treasurer) brought landowners up to date on Bear Creek business, finances, and plans for the next year.  Game warden Rod Ruybalid talked of fishing and bears.  Tracy Ingles led a group of volunteers to set up for the picnic and raffle.  The potluck picnic boasted a feast of good food.  More volunteers spearheaded the raffle and silent auction of artwork, woodwork, quilts, decorative items, books, and a variety of other items donated by Bear Creek landowners.  Proceeds from the raffle and auction go to the Bear Creek scholarship fund.

You can probably tell from the photos that everyone had a grand time.
